Developing policies and practice in
With the new Appraisal process now having a direct bearing on Performance Related Pay, schools, local authorities, trustees and governors will need to develop, consult on and adopt a series of new policies.
On application, Edward Gildea will support and guide you in the development of policies on:
- Appraisal and Performance Management
- Performance Related Pay
- Competency and Disciplinary Procedures
- Health and Attendance
- Professional Expectations and Behaviours
This will operate on a daily rate, negotiated in advance, to accommodate your needs and may involve:
- Meetings with school leadership and governors or trustees
- Analysis of current policies and their effectiveness
- Analysis of model policies and their potential application to your individual circumstances
- Consideration of the most constructive process of policy development to maximise the sense of staff ownership of, engagement in and acceptance of the new policy
- Support through the consultation process
Cost: £650 per day plus expenses. Where a school, cluster or trust books a total of 5 days or more per year, for example as part of SIP or coaching services, then all rates are reduced by 10%.
